Genie is set in a background of an underground cave, and the first thing I saw was three lamps, and later I found out that there would be three genies holding up eighteen hands, and they were floating on the hidden treasure which lie beneath them. Each Genie in this scratchcard game has six hands; hence it increased my chances to win this game immensely. The idea behind the game is simple, I had to match three lamp colors on the same Genie, and if that happened I won. But, this game depended more on chance than on strategy although there were a number of chances in my favor. How I played Genie:
• I started the game by clicking on ‘play’ and purchasing the cards, and placing my bet.
• I released all three Genies from their ‘home’ lamps.
• Each of the Genies held up six hands that had colored lamps in them. I won since the Genie on the right had three red colored lamps.
In the scratchcard game of Genie, I found that I had nothing much to do, I had to just sit back and relax while the game went on after placing it on the auto play mode, since it is the kind of game that does not actually involve the player performing anything except clicking a few times.
Genie has great graphics and animation, but the color of the Genie could have been more pleasing to the eye if it weren’t fluorescent green. Also, the Genie did not look very attractive. Other than that I did not find anything lacking in this simple scratchcard game.
Genie did everything for me, and I had to just enjoy the fun of the game, since once the bet is placed it depends on the system to continue the game in auto play after it has been enabled. Instead of granting wishes, the Genie brought colored lamps that decided whether I won the game. It made sense to me to have a simple interface since the game is also very simple. It could have surely been more attractive, and the dark mood that has been set for the game could have been a bit more exciting with brighter colors on display.
